well, this is what i’m *hopefully* making this weekend. my brother-in-law is helping the mister install some gorgeous hardwood floors, so i get to play with my one-year-old niece (the happiest little girl in the world, seriously). not sure how much i will accomplish with her running around being happily adorable (and adorably happy) but hopefully most of it.
honey oat whole wheat bread
homemade venison broth/stock
italian wedding soup
wild rice and mushroom soup
i took my time creating a list of resolutions this year. i had one large list of things that i want to accomplish. then crossed some things off. added a few more.
what i came up with were some great ideas for bettering my marriage, some small things to improve my finances, and a few lists of new things to do.
here is my month-by-month lists of crafts and food to make this year. the links are to examples and recipes, to be replaced by my work.

We ended the weekend with a family meal out and a movie.
Best part of the weekend? Seeing my husband in a very dapper jacket.
