as i discussed yesterday, i like giving up something and adding something every lent.
something negative: negativity. i have felt weighed down lately, but a lot of negative thoughts. about various things. for the lenten season, i’m going to work toward decreasing my negative thoughts and actions.
something positive: prayerful meditation. i’ve found much solace in my prayers and want to encourage myself to partake in them more. i want to devote time to remembering what i am grateful for and asking for assistance when i need it, such as for removing my negativity.
